Konstantin Emelyanov
Konstantin Emelyanov (a Yamaha Artist from 2019) graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He also studied at the Rachmaninov Academy in Catania, Italy, with Professor Epifanio Comis during the 2017-18 season. In 2019 he was considered one of the revelations at the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition. When he was a student at the Conservatory, Konstantin won prizes at prestigious international competitions, including the International Competition for Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, piano competitions in Verona (Italy), and Suzhou (China), and the Viotti Piano Competition (First Prize and Audience Prize). He cemented his reputation further when he won the 2022 International German Piano Award. The pianist has an active touring schedule and has taken part in various musical projects and festivals (La folle journée in Ekaterinburg, the International Piano Series in Berne, etc.), performed with many symphony orchestras and collaborated with artists such as Alexander Rudin, Felix Korobov, Mark Kadin, Mark Gorenstein, Zaurbek Gugkaev, Dmitri Jurowsky, Chris tian Knapp, Valentin Uryupin, Dimitris Botinis, Dmitry Liss and others.
